Case study: Snow Plough for Iseki SXG 324 Low Tip

This time; we fitted a snow plough for Iseki SXG 324 Low Tip, helping councils and contractors to provide a solution to maximise their mower’s uses during snowy months.

Kersten SCHN Snow Plough – Built for Efficiency and Durability

The SCHN Snow Plough is designed to handle various snow types and conditions, making it an essential tool for winter maintenance. Available in 110-135 cm working width and a steep attack angle, this snow plough provides effective snow clearance, quickly pushing snow to the side of the road to maintain safe passage for vehicles and pedestrians.

For the Iseki SXG 324, the SCHN snow plough is mounted using the mower’s integrated hydraulics and control panel, enabling smooth transitions between mowing and snow clearing. In this case, a special fitting was required as the mower's front lacked sufficient space for the pump that powers hydraulic attachments. Fortunately, the SXG 324’s built-in hydraulics were adequate for angling and lifting the plough. However, these hydraulics have limited capacity compared to FKDR linkages, making them suitable only for basic angling and lifting operations.

The item used in this project was as follows:

1. SCHN 12545 FK-FKDR SCHN 12545 Snow blade - 125cm working width with hydraulic lift and angling
2. FKDR-HYD-ISSXG324 Front Linkage Hydraulic Kit for Iseki SXG 324 to fit FKDR Snow Plough or Blower

Product Detail:

1. 125cm Working Width; 45cm high
2. Hydraulic Lift & Angling: For easy adjustment of the plough’s position without leaving the seat.
3. Trip Spring Protection: Protects the plough from damage when encountering obstacles, ensuring the longevity of the equipment.
4. Adjustable Steel Skids: Prevents wear on the plough and allows for customizable clearance levels, especially on uneven surfaces.
5. ROBALON Scraper Bar: High Wear Resistance without damaging roads or pavements

Other attachments such as:

can also be fitted on the Iseki SXG 324 ride-on mower.
